Welcome to Satellite-Art.com! Satellite images, artistically rendered by Peter Sforza in vivid colors and detailed textures, provide a breathtaking perspective of both familiar and exotic landscapes. Satellite art is a modern blend of art and science, both abstract and real. Tapping the electromagnetic spectrum as a palette, the evolution and beauty of our planet captured from space as a dynamic form, shaped by the elements of the universe. Fine art prints are available in several standard sizes for the entire catalog, and requests are encouraged for commissioned work and custom or extreme sizes. To purchase prints, email or call Peter at 540-230-7506 for assistance, questions, or comments. All prints ordered on-line are currently open-edition prints on archival quality photographic papers using archival quality Vivera pigmented inks. Many prints may be custom ordered as archival quality giclee prints on William Turner watercolor 310g paper, satin, or semigloss papers - contact Peter for details.

FloydFest X from Space

The Satellite-Art team has partnered with Across the Way Productions to produce an artistic series of posters and prints of FloydFest X utilizing satellite and aerial platforms.

The IKONOS satellite will turn its lens towards FloydFest on Saturday morning at 11:00 for a shot
that will capture the eXperience as viewed from space, followed by an afternoon image taken
from a helicopter. Be a part of the art on Saturday by joining the giant humanscape in front of
the main stage. Wranglers will be there to guide you to create a unique formation to celebrate ten
years of FloydFest. Tent formations and tasteful small-group collaborations on site are encouraged.

For more information during the festival visit the 16 Blocks and Satellite Art House booth (adjacent to the WSLS10 tent on the main field), check the schedule, and keep your ears open at the performance stages for additional announcement.

Details on the FloydFest X Satellite Image are available at http://www.Satellite-Art.com/floydfest
